The first of May in the top of Halti
On the last days of April we turned our leaders towards Halti with Vuokko. Halti is the highest fell in Finland. We built a camp by Lake Meekon, and made excursions in the vicinity. In the first two days it was so windy (28 m/s at best) that I couldn't hold my camera in my hands. Fortunately, the unpredictable spring weather of this northern landscape turned finally sunny. On the way home we encountered lush and white-out. According to Halti guestbook I was visitor number 97836.
